A Little About Me

I have been doing commissions for the past 7 or 8 years. I graduated with a BFA in drawing and painting at Brigham Young University, and specialized in portraiture. I've been drawing people since I was eight years old and I've just grown to love it more throughout the years. I regard portraiture as a wonderful, personal thing that allows me to get to know the individual that I am trying to portray in a unique way. I always try to put heart and life into my work, and I enjoy the interaction that I have with my clients as I get to know them and the subject I am painting/drawing. My goal is to create an image that emulates the subject on a deep, personal level that transcends mere copying of measurements.
